Estimating Coordinator
Overview
As Estimating Coordinator, Shawn supports the estimating team by managing proposal procurement, bid documentation, and project setup. He prepares subcontracts and owner contracts, ensuring all required documentation is in place for current and future projects. Shawn also assists estimators with take-offs, buyouts, mark-ups, and coordination as needed. In addition, he leads networking efforts, maintains subcontractor relationships, and ensures clear and efficient communication throughout the process.
Experience
Shawn brings diverse experience across estimating, project management, and operations. Prior to joining ReArch, he worked as an estimator with a local construction company, where he generated over $6 million in new revenue by identifying and securing commercial and residential construction opportunities across healthcare, retail, office, and mixed-use markets. In 2024, Shawn founded Concept Custom Homes, where he led business development, estimating, and project management for residential projects. His background also includes leadership roles in operations and construction inspection, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of construction processes and team coordination.
Education
Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho and is currently pursuing an MBA in Construction Management from Southern Indiana University.
Background
Shawn lives in Vermont with his wife and their two young boys. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and has a strong passion for the outdoors.
