ReArch Construction was honored to join our partners at Cathedral Square, Duncan-Wisniewski Architecture, the City of St. Albans, and community members to celebrate the official grand opening of Reid Commons with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held earlier today.
Located in the heart of St. Albans, Reid Commons offers 33 thoughtfully designed, mixed-income apartments for older adults (ages 55+). This project reflects a shared commitment to creating high-quality, affordable housing that supports both independent living and community connection.
From a construction perspective, ReArch is incredibly proud to have helped bring this vision to life. Reid Commons is designed for comfort, accessibility, and energy efficiency, and is located in a walkable neighborhood with easy access to public transit and nearby essential services—making it a model for sustainable and inclusive senior housing in Vermont.
The building is named in honor of Cindy Reid, Cathedral Square’s Director of Real Estate Development, whose decades of dedication to affordable housing have positively impacted countless Vermonters. It’s a fitting tribute to someone whose life’s work has made communities like this possible.
We are grateful for the trust and collaboration of our project partners and are thrilled to see Reid Commons open its doors to new residents. It’s more than just a building—it’s a place older Vermonters can proudly call home.
