ReArch was proud to join the City of Lebanon, NH, the Lebanon Fire Department, and community members in celebrating the grand opening of the new Station 1 Fire Facility. The event was marked by a traditional Hose Uncoupling Ceremony, led by Fire Chief Jim Wheatley, symbolizing the department’s transition to a new, modern chapter.
The celebration brought together local clergy, city and state representatives, and project partners, including Lavallee Brensinger Architects, highlighting the strong collaboration behind this important community investment.
As construction manager for the project, ReArch partnered closely with the Lebanon Fire Department, City of Lebanon, and Lavallee Brensinger Architects to bring this public safety facility to life. Designed with safety, efficiency, and long-term performance in mind, the new station reflects the evolving needs of today’s fire service.
The original station, built in 1954, will be demolished to make way for this state-of-the-art facility. In its place stands a modern fire station equipped to support both advanced emergency response and firefighter well-being.
Key features of the new Station 1 include:
- Expanded space to accommodate modern fire apparatus
- A dedicated decontamination area to enhance firefighter safety
- Secured and controlled access throughout the building
- Individual climate control systems for improved comfort and efficiency
- Separate locker room facilities
- Solar panels to support sustainability goals
- Infrastructure for electric vehicle charging
Centrally located near Colburn Park, the station serves as a vital community asset and a visible investment in Lebanon’s future.
ReArch is honored to have played a role in delivering a facility that will serve the City of Lebanon for generations to come. We thank the City of Lebanon, Fire Chief Jim Wheatley, and all project partners for their collaboration and trust throughout this process, and we congratulate the Lebanon Fire Department on their new home.
