ReArch Construction is proud to announce that our work on the Adimab Expansion project in Lebanon, New Hampshire, has been recognized with an Excellence in Construction Award. Presented by ABC NH/VT, this award celebrates outstanding achievement in design, construction, innovation, and collaboration across the region’s building industry.
The Adimab Expansion represents more than a building project — it reflects a shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and creating spaces that support cutting-edge scientific research.
Located in Lebanon, NH, Adimab’s new 27,800-square-foot, three-story expansion was designed to support the company’s continued growth as a leader in therapeutic antibody discovery and engineering technologies. ReArch worked closely with architects Christopher Smith and Sylvia Richards of Practice for Architecture, alongside an exceptional team of engineers and consultants, to bring the vision to life.
A defining feature of the project is its mass-timber structural system, utilizing glued-laminated timber and cross-laminated timber throughout the building. Chosen for its carbon-sequestering properties and environmental benefits, the system played a central role in achieving the project’s sustainability goals while creating a warm, modern, and highly functional space.
The facility includes state-of-the-art laboratories, open office environments, and collaborative meeting spaces designed to foster innovation and connection. Additional site improvements included a satellite parking area and a pedestrian footbridge spanning existing wetlands, thoughtfully designed to minimize environmental impact while improving campus accessibility.
Sustainability remained a key driver throughout both design and construction. Highly efficient HVAC systems, a rain screen envelope system for improved insulation and weather protection, and natural material selections throughout the building all contributed to reducing the facility’s environmental footprint.
