Skilled Trades (Self-Perform) Business Manager
Overview
As Skilled Trades (Self-Perform) Business Manager, Matt Moulton is responsible for overseeing ReArch’s self-perform operations, including the management of Carpenters, Apprentices, and Foremen across all job sites. He works closely with project teams to ensure that field crews are operating safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project goals and timelines.
Matt plays an integral role in workforce planning, training, and recruitment, helping to grow and strengthen ReArch’s skilled trades team. He also supports jobsite coordination, quality control, and identifying cost-effective solutions that enhance project outcomes.
Experience
Matt brings a strong foundation in carpentry, field supervision, and team leadership. Prior to his current role, he gained valuable experience as a superintendent, where he managed day-to-day operations on job sites, coordinated subcontractors, ensured safety compliance, and maintained project schedules. His hands-on background in managing crews and delivering top-tier craftsmanship has made him a trusted resource throughout the company.
Before joining ReArch, Matt owned and managed his own construction company, Evolution Building Company. Before that, he was a project manager at Northeast Commercial Interiors, where he was a millwork specialist, overseeing the installation of trim, cabinets, countertops, crown molding, and custom millwork.
Education
Matt attended Vermont Technical College for Architectural Engineering.
Background
Matt resides in Charlotte, Vermont, with his wife and three kids. He is a former competitive bodybuilder and enjoys many fitness-related activities. As a skilled Carpenter, Matt enjoys working on custom woodworking projects for family and friends.
