Project Description:
With the growing demand for diagnostic imaging services, Northwestern Medical Center contracted with ReArch Construction to undertake a significant upgrade to the hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging (DI) department. This project involved installing a state-of-the-art CT machine and renovating and expanding the DI department. The department is now fully operational and offers enhanced patient care.
The newly expanded CT suite houses the latest CT technology, providing the hospital with increased imaging capacity and enhanced diagnostic capabilities. In addition to the new equipment, the DI department was further improved with the addition of two triage rooms and an expanded waiting room area. These upgrades provide increased patient privacy and comfort, as well as a more efficient and streamlined workflow throughout the department.
The completion of this project follows the department’s successful MRI upgrade in 2023. Both projects position NWMC to serve the healthcare needs of its communities better.
