Assistant Project Manager
Overview
As an assistant project manager, Sarah plays a key role in supporting and driving the success of assigned projects. She is responsible for ensuring that all project documents are maintained, organized, and consistently communicated across teams. Sarah works closely with the project manager to oversee the project schedule, monitor progress, and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned.
Her day-to-day responsibilities include contract administration, submittal review, document control, and assisting with change order management. Sarah is also integral in controlling the flow of information between the field staff and the design team, ensuring that all aspects of the project run smoothly and efficiently.
Experience
Sarah joins ReArch Company with prior experience in estimating, subcontractor bidding, processing Submittals, RFI’s, Change Orders, Purchase Orders and Closeout Documents. In her previous position at a local contractor, she worked closely with local and state housing, education, and government departments. She firmly understands the pre-qualification and specification process for state-funded projects.
Education
Sarah started her education at the Community College of Vermont. After two years, she transferred to Everglades University, where Sarah is working towards her Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with an anticipated graduation date of February 2023.
Background
Sarah grew up in Richmond, VT, and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, including camping, hiking, kayaking, and fishing. She is interested in learning to hunt and trap and likes to cook and try new foods.
